Stitching Up A Little Sunshine from Podunk Pretties

 Hello Quilting Friends!  My Quilt Studio clean up is almost complete.  I had a set back or two over the last few days but things are moving along pretty good once again. So when I ran across the yellow gingham porch quilt UFO I thought, why not get this girl made into a finished quilt top.  It shouldn't take long since she is about halfway pieced.

Spring is in the Air from Podunk Pretties

 Spring is a fickle season, don't you think?  It's cold one day, warm the next.  Sunny in the morning, snowing by nightfall.  I'm not complaining.  I can take springs mood swings because I know it won't be long until the flowers start blooming and everything turns green again. Until then I can make my own bit of sunshine in the Studio.


This weeks weather is looking pretty yukky.  There might be a couple days where I can squeeze in a little veggie garden prep.  The Farmer's Almanac says I should have already planted a few ...

A Little Quilting Progress and A Lot of Cooking from Podunk Pretties

Hello Happy Quilters!  There's not a lot to share with you today but there has been a little progress this past weekend.  Most of my time has been spent doing those nasty little chores we put off in order to spend time doing what we want to do instead of what needs/should to be done.  Total time in the Studio was about 4 hours over the weekend.  Not much time but there was a lot accomplished in so little time.   The Amour de Cherise quilt is coming along.  Not sure I'm in love with the quilting but ...

Friday Finish: Carpenter’s Star Quilt from Patchwork Sampler Blog

Gingham Rainbow Carpenters Star Quilt

This week I shifted priorities in order to get quilts out of my house. This Gingham Rainbow Carpenter’s Star quilt is now finished. I don’t remember how long ago I made this quilt, but it’s been several years. The binding is now complete and the quilt is ready to donate.
